At Makeup By Monique, Bridal Makeup is all about an elevated you. Makeup that not only enhances your beautiful features, but also makes you feel your most confident on your special day. At your bridal trial, Monique will work together with you and curate your most perfect bridal makeup look. Whether you are after a full glam with bold lashes or a very natural soft glam on your special day, Monique will ensure you look and feel amazing in the makeup from morning all the way until night and ensure that your bridal vision comes to life.

Please note that this pricing is only applicable to wedding dates up until June 2026. If your wedding date is from July 2026 onwards, please enquire here for an accurate quote and to reserve your wedding date. Additionally, all prices are in AUD and inclusive of GST. Prices are fixed, non-negotiable and subject to change without notice. 


Terms and Conditions

Bridal Trials

  • Bridal Trials are mandatory at Makeup By Monique. Bridal Trials must be booked at least 4 weeks before your secured wedding date.
  • Normally, trials are booked after your wedding date has been secured. If you'd like, your trial may also be booked before your wedding date, however, your wedding date won't be held or confirmed unless the booking fee is paid.
  • Bridal Trials are held exclusively at Makeup By Monique's studio in Essendon, Victoria.
  • During your bridal trial, we will:

Discuss your bridal makeup inspiration/ vision board 
Conduct a colour analysis 
Conduct a skin consultation
Trial a vast variety of different makeup products 

Analyse your facial structure/ features 

Create a record of products used to replicate on your wedding day

Reception Touch Up Service

  • A touch up service may be required on your wedding day. A touch up service is where Monique will be with you before your reception to touch up/ freshen up your makeup. This may include touching up your entire bridal party and any additional guests you had booked in for makeup that morning. 
  • A touch up service is optional and usually recommended for days with extreme weathers (heat, rain or wind) or if you have an early start (e.g. you have a tea ceremony) etc.
  • You may also book in a touch up service if you are wanting to make minor adjustments to your look for your reception.
  • Travel of up to 30 minutes (one-way) is included in the touch up service price.

 

Travel Service

  • $90 is the minimum out of studio fee. It covers the time it takes to pack the entire kit, set up and pack up at the location.
  • The travel fee is then calculated based on the total travel time and it takes into account time in traffic, tolls and parking costs.

  • Please refer to the table below for a rough estimate on the costs:

    10mins (20mins total) $90
    30mins (1hr total) $150
    1hr (2hrs total) $250
    1.5hrs (3hrs total) $350

     

  • Please note that $400 is the maximum travel fee Monique will charge, any further distances will require an overnight stay fully covered by the client.

 

Early Start Fees

There will be an additional cost depending on the following start times. If travel exceeds one hour, the early start fee will be calculated from the departure time rather than the start time.

 Booking Fee

  • To secure your wedding date, a $200 booking fee must be paid via bank transfer. This booking fee is strictly non-refundable and covers admin and all preparatory work carried out prior to the service taking place. This amount is deducted from the final invoiced amount and it will be retained in all circumstances. The remaining balance owed must be paid at least 7 days before the wedding date via bank transfer or a cash payment must be ready on the day.
